Mr. Irfan H.A. Vazeer is an MBA, majors in Marketing. He started his career in 1981 and afterwards he moved over to Volkarts Pakistan Pvt. Ltd. a Swiss concern amalgamated with P&O represented by Mackinons Mackenzie & Company Pakistan Pvt. Ltd.

In 1988 he joined Maersk Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd.. Later in the same year, he was posted in Copenhagen – Head Office of A.P. Moller Group who owns Maersk Line (now known as Maersk Sealand after acquiring Sealand Shipping) which is operating in Pakistan since 1988.

In the year 1989 he was connected with Sealand Shipping an arm of CSX Corporation, represented by Forbes Forbes Campbell in Pakistan.

In the year 1993 he joined James Finlay Ltd. and in the year 2001 he took over as the first Chief Executive of James Finlay Ltd. (Pakistan). James Finlay Ltd. being a Scotish Firm was established in Glasgow, in the year 1727. James Finlay opened it’s branch office in Pakistan in the year 1890 (at that time it was a part of India).

In December 2000 James Finlay Ltd. became a wholly owned subsidiary of Swire Group and was registered as a Private Limited Company.

Swire Group is a world renowned Group, established in 1816 in UK, the Group's privately-owned parent company, John Swire & Sons, is headquartered in London..
